This is gonna be one short movie.
I am so well rested,
all i did today was
eat, eat, eat
and watch X-Files.
Now,
for my recap of Saturday.
The most important day of the camp.
SaturdayDrill comp.
Very scary.
Inspection was first,
I had to time.
I kept reminding myself
to say the timing immediately
after Angie gave the command.
And that was really hard,
cause we had to stand there for
almost half an hour
since we were the last contingent.
My mouth was dry
and I was scared that nothing would come out
if i tried to speak after so long.
but inspection was fine,
the balls of my feet were hurting alot though.
Anyway,
then the music drill part came.
I screwed up the first part,
we didn't even start yet,
and I screwed it up.
I kakananed when i should've kakiri-ed.
and I didn't even excecute it smartly.
I turned halfway and turned back.
and grimaced at my stupidity.
Then our timing for hantaking was really off,
Ashley, from what i heard,
was not lifting 90.
We were very messy too.
I was very messy.
When we finished our routine,
and were marching off the parade ground,
I forgot to time,
and Angie started timing
but it was super soft and
none of us could hear it.
So our marching was off,
when we stopped,
half our squad didn't stamp.
I was crushed,
I screwed up the most and i knew it.
We went back to the Trallice(sp?)
and I was already fighting tears.
Joan, thank you for comforting me (:
Angeline walked away,
I knew I (or we) disappointed her alot.
we all knew we wouldn't win anything.
Then came lunch at the Bamboo CY.
There was a small prize presentation
of the camp events.
Kingfishers won third for the HortPark thing.
Mrs Yee came back :D
She's much nicer than Miss Yang.
She doesn't scold us every second...
We all could eat after that.
I didn't feel like eating
cause my squad members told me
that Rachel and Angie were crying.
Well, they weren't,
but I still felt really bad.
So, I met up with Melody and Esther Mak,
they were about to queue up.
Then Melody and I started crying very hard.
We were hugging each other and crying.
I was feeling disappointed in myself,
having disappointed Angeline and Rachel.
And Melody mentioned that she was crying
because she would miss her seniors
when they leave MGS.
Then I realised that I would miss Angeline too.
So we cried even harder,
and
we started emoing in the basketball court
still crying.

Sad day.
Drill comp results were very very weird.
Every girl had a medal,
2 squads got bronze,
2 squads got silver
and
3 squads got gold
my squad got first place,
along with Swifts and some other squad (sorry!)
It was very very very unbelievable.
Because they mentioned from Bronze onward,
when we didn't get silver,
my squadmates were like
"Do we get a certificate of participation?"
I don't feel like we deserved it.
Swallows worked four times harder than us,
their routine was much more complicated
and creative than ours,
and they got a silver.
Maybe we should switch...
I still didn't eat,
but Melody and I binged
on fishballs and wedges when
the people were clearing up.
It was good.
Miss Ng took a photo of us stuffing our faces.

I took a box of 3 fishballs and lotsa wedges home.
I ate around 6 fishballs :D
It made me think of Mrs Yeo.
I think this week was a sad sad week.
